In 1918, A. Handte Medizintechnik GmbH & Co. KG started
manufacturing surgical instruments. Since the restructuring of the
company in 1995, the company also produces medical products according
to ISO 9001 EN 46001 standards. The product portfolio comprises more
than 600 different kinds of instruments that are predominantly sold on
the German and American market for use in areas such as orthopaedics,
biopsy and neurosurgery.
