Founded in 1945, Karl Klappenecker produces surgical instruments. The company is now owned by Dagmar Klappenecker-Merz and is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 13485. The company produces approximately 1,400 standard instruments from stainless steel, including arterial clamps, bone levers, wound retractors, rib spreaders or nose speculae. In addition, customised instruments that are made of stainless steel and titanium are produced on the clients' requests.
