EMBL Vision 2020 Lecture Series
Ab 28. April 2010 bietet das EMBL (Europäisches Laboratorium für Molekularbiologie) in Heidelberg eine neue Vorlesungsreihe an, die Auftakt für das Eröffnungsjahr des EMBL Advanced Training Centre ist. Bis Mai 2011 sind Nobelpreisträger aus den Lebenswissenschaften zum EMBL eingeladen, um dort einen zirka zweistündigen Vortrag zu halten über deren Visionen, was sich in deren Bereichen bis 2020 entwickeln könnte. Den nächsten Vortrag mit dem Titel "How does the hippocampus handle episodic memories?" hält Prof. Susumu Tonegawa am 20.Oktober 2010.
Die Vorträge beginnen um 16:00 Uhr und das EMBL lädt Sie danach zu einem Beisammensein mit Wein und Käse ein. Sie werden bei der Gelegenheit die Möglichkeit haben, einen Blick ins neue EMBL Advanced Training Centre zu werfen einschließlich einer Wissenschaftsausstellung.
